The light you leave on for them

Their photo, their name, the years you had - printed into a clear acrylic panel that lights from beneath, with a small corked glass vial set into it to hold a memory of them.

You already have the photo. It's the one you keep going back to, the one you can't scroll past. This gives it somewhere to live that isn't your camera roll.

It sits on a shelf, a bedside table, the windowsill they used to sleep on. You switch it on in the evening, the way you once would have called them in.

Choosing a photo

The one you keep going back to is usually the right one.

A clear picture of their face works best — decent light, close enough to see their eyes. Photos that struggle: very dark ones, anything blurry, heavy filters, and pictures saved from social media, which are often much smaller than they look on a phone.

If yours won't print well, we'll email you before we make anything and help you choose another.

What arrives

  • Acrylic panel on a wooden stand — 15.5 × 16.5 cm (6.1 × 6.5 in)

  • A small corked glass vial, for memorial keepsake

  • Their photo, their name and their years printed into the panel

  • USB powered, with an on/off switch on the lead

The USB lead plugs into any adapter or laptop — a mains plug isn't included. There's a protective film on the acrylic; peel it off before you switch it on.

Before we make it

Three things: a photo of them, their name, and the years.

A clear photo of their face works best. If yours is too dark or blurry to print well, we'll tell you before it goes to be made so that it looks exactly how you want it.

Looking after it

We'll email you to confirm the photo we've received and the spelling of their name. Nothing goes into production until you've replied.

Where do you ship?

We ship WORLDWIDE. Shipping is free on every order.

Does it really take 3-4 weeks to arrive?

Yes.

Each one is printed and assembled for one animal, after you order. There's no shelf of these waiting somewhere with someone else's photo on them.

We'll send tracking as soon as it's on its way.

If you need it for a particular date — an anniversary, a birthday, a service — tell us when you order and we'll say honestly whether it can be done. We'd rather tell you no than miss it.

What can i put in the vial?

The vial is a small glass tube with a cork, hanging beside their photo. It opens by pulling the cork straight out.

Most people use a lock of fur. Others put in a whisker, a piece of the collar, a little soil from where they're buried, or a dried flower from the spot in the garden they used to sleep in.

There's no right thing to put in it. It's small — enough for a special keepsake.

What if it doesn't turn out how i want it?

Tell us and we'll remake it.

If the print isn't what we confirmed with you, if the spelling is wrong, or if it arrives damaged, email us a photo and we'll make another. You don't need to send the first one back.

Contact us at support@stillhearth.com within 30 days of it arriving.

Can i order this for someone else?

Yes you can.

You don't have to be the person who lost them.

If you have a photo, order as normal and add their pet's name and years. If you don't have one, order anyway and reply to your confirmation email — we'll wait, and we can ask them for a photo ourselves if you'd rather not raise it.

We can send it straight to them, or to you first if you'd rather hand it over in person. Tell us which when you order.
